Gilles Simon with a sharp criticism to the French Federation

One of the best French players in recent years - Gilles Simon, spoke strongly against the local tennis federation and the way it was sacked the captain Arnaud Clement. According to Simon, the heads of the French tennis have been extremely disrespectful to Clement, replacing him "at any time".

"The most soft, I can say, is that the situation with the dismissal of Clement is awkward. But for me this is a pure disrespect, "said Simon.

"If they wanted to take the control of the things after losing in London, they had to do it then. It was so simple. However, the situation became much more worse, it created a tensions. It was not pleasant for Arnaud to find out the names that are inflected for his place before they fired him, "said Simon.

About the new captain of France Yannick Noah, Simon commented as follows: "Our goal is to win the Davis Cup."
