Novak Djokovic continues without error

The world number one Novak Djokovic continues without to lost a set and ranked in the quarterfinals of the "Roland Garros". The Serbian tennis player had convincingly victory against the No20 placed Richard Gasquet with 6:1, 6:2, 6:3 and provided the most expected in the draw match against Rafael Nadal at the 29th birthday of the Spaniard on Wednesday.

On the center court "Philippe Chatrier", the Frenchman took the submission at the beginning of the match, but afte that there were a devastating series of nine consecutive games for Nole. Gasquet lost confidence in his power after losing a marathon game for 1:2. The leader in the scheme easily closed the first part.

In the second round this picture does not change. Djokovic started to break for 2:0 and finished with another 6:2.

In the final set, Gasquet started a little better, but was broken again to 1:3. In the seventh game the French tennis player reached the first break of 3:4. Immediately afterwards, Novak made a new break for 5:3. Djokovic already served for the match. He led with 40:15 and ended with a precise short ball.

Djokovic had 47 winners, including 4 aces and made only 25 unforced errors in the match. For Novak, it was the 26th consecutive victory and 24th consecutive Grand Slam quarterfinal.

Nadal leads with a 23-20 victory in the rivalry against Nole.
